In part two of our interview with Ryan Ferguson we dive further into his experience being wrongfully convicted and imprisoned for over a decade. Ryan shares harrowing details about the political setup that led to his imprisonment and the blatant evidence of his innocence that was ignored by the justice system for years. Ryan also discusses the dangerous conditions in prison, where inmates live with the constant threat of violence. We can’t help but to admire Ryan’s resilience and the strong support he received from his family, especially his parents, during his fight to prove his innocence. With this episode we hope that by sharing Ryan’s story more widely, we can help build support to fix problems in the criminal justice system. We believe Ryan has the potential to be a leader in reform efforts given his compelling personal experience and drive to create change.
